After Forever was a Dutch symphonic metal band with strong progressive metal influences.
The band relied on the use of both soprano vocals and death grunts. In February 2009 it was announced that After Forever had disbanded.

Steve Sweet (The Hague, September 12, 1967) is a Dutch DJ. He is best known under the names DJ Darkraver or The Darkraver, but sometimes occurs under the name DJ Sweet Steve. He is also known as the co-creator and promoter of the phrase "Hakkûh", a concept which is used as a name for the typical hardcore-/gabberdansstijl, also with DJ Gizmo he is considered one of the main representatives of the Hague hardcore scene.

Di-rect is a Dutch band, comprising Jamie Westland (drums), Frans "Spike" of Zoest (guitar), Bas van Wageningen (bass), Marcel Veenendaal (vocals) and Vince Reeken (keyboards). The band started with Tim Akkerman, who last ten years the role of lead singer had, but Akkerman got in March 2009 from the band in November that year and was succeeded by Veenendaal. Di-rect is originally from The Hague.
Golden Earring are a Dutch rock band, founded in 1961 in The Hague as the Golden Earrings (the 's' was dropped in 1969). They had international chart success with the songs "Radar Love" in 1973, "Twilight Zone" in 1982, and "When The Lady Smiles" in 1984. In their home country, they had over 40 hits and made over 30 gold and platinum albums. Current members of Golden Earring are Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute and saxophone, member since 1968), George Kooymans (vocals and guitar, founder of band), Rinus Gerritsen (bass and keyboard, founding member), and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums and percussion, member since 1970). Golden Earring have sold millions of albums worldwide, and they are one of the longest existing rock bands in the world that are currently performing in the same line up. Golden Earring's upcoming studio album will be recorded live at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London in July 2011. August 2011 Dutch post group TNT Post will honour the band with a Golden Earring commemorative stamp for its fiftieth anniversary and golden jubilee as a rockband.
Intwine was a Dutch rock band formed in 2001 by five students of the Tilburg Rockacademie.(tilburg,my city :) )
The band received national attention in the Netherlands after their lead singer Roger Peterson participated in the Idols talent show in 2002,there after charting the Dutch Top 40 with the songs "Happy?" and "Cruel Man" as their major hits
Within Temptation is a Dutch metal/rock band founded in 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. Their music is described as symphonic metal although their earlier material, such as Enter, was gothic metal ,In an interview, Den Adel said they fell into a symphonic rock genre with various influences. In a later interview with 3VOOR12, Sharon stated that "we consider ourselves more a symphonic rock band ... we are in my opinion no gothic band".
Tiësto,born as Tijs Michiel Verwest on January 17, 1969) is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is a twist of his childhood nickname.
In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. In 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001 he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times by DJ Magazine from 2002 through 2004
