TAYLOR MOMSEN COVERS SEVENTEEN FEBRUARY 2010
The 16-year-old Gossip Girl actress chatted about being taken seriously and angsty, and sweet Lindsay Lohan. Check it:
On teenage angst: “I am angsty. I’ll be angsty until I’m 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you’re figuring s*** out, and I don’t know why that’s a negative thing.”
On people taking her seriously: “I think people don’t really take me seriously because I’m 16. And they think most 16-year-olds don’t know what they want to do. But I actually really do, because I’ve been thinking about it since I was 2. And in the world of acting, you have such a stigma put onto you that you [get into this business] for the fame. Fame frankly means nothing. It’s so stupid. Unless you do something great and unless you do something that’s fulfilling to you, what’s the point?”
On not wanting to be the next tabloid star: “I love working. I’m a workaholic, and no one believes it. I’m in the recording studio until three in the morning. I get such a rap for being like Lindsay Lohan - and I hate naming names because she’s really sweet - and I’m really not. I don’t go out. I have no desire to be some tabloid party girl. I’m entirely a loner. I have been my entire life.”

BUBBLE TEA PART 1
Bubble tea is a tea beverage typically served cold. It originated in Taiwan in the 1980s, first spread to nearby East Asian countries, migrated to Canada before spreading to Chinatown in New York City, and then to various spots throughout the West Coast of the United States.
There are many variants of the drink, depending on types of tea used and ingredients added. The most popular kinds are "bubble black tea" (traditional Chinese: 泡沫紅茶; pinyin: pào mò hóng chá; literally "froth red tea"), "bubble green tea" (traditional Chinese: 泡沫綠茶; pinyin: pào mò lǜ chá), and "pearl milk tea" (traditional Chinese: 珍珠奶茶; pinyin: zhen zhu nǎi chá).
In the most common English usage, the name "bubble tea" is often associated with pearl milk tea, as it is the most popular variant of the drink. Pearl milk tea, also known as "boba milk tea", is traditionally made by adding boba balls (made from a mixture of tapioca and carrageenan powder), large or small, to shaken milk black tea. Some tea houses use pre-mixed milk tea to simplify the steps and reduce cost, thus removing the "shake" part from step and lessening its connection to the "bubble tea" name. This has caused some confusion as to what "bubble" is referring to in pearl milk tea.
Bubble teas are generally of two distinct types: fruit-flavored teas, and milk teas. However, some shops offer a hybrid "fruit milk tea." Milk teas may use dairy or non-dairy creamers. Some more healthful varieties are 100% crushed fruit smoothies with pearls and signature ice cream shakes made from local ice cream sources. Many American bubble tea vendors sell "milk smoothies", which is similar to bubble tea but does not actually contain any tea ingredients. Some small cafes offer sweetener substitutes such as honey, agave, stevia, and aspartame upon special request.
The oldest known bubble tea consisted of a mixture of hot Taiwanese black tea, small tapioca pearls (粉圆), condensed milk, and syrup(糖浆) or honey. According to the contested originator (春水堂) from Taichung, the drink was not popular at first, but after being featured on a Japanese TV-show, the concept started to be adopted and popularized by drink vendors throughout Asia.[2][3] Many variations were created, the most common improvement is to serve the drink cold rather than hot. The tea type is frequently replaced. First was the bubble green tea- which uses jasmine-infused green tea (茉香绿茶) instead of black tea. Big tapioca pearls (波霸/黑珍珠) were adapted and quickly replaced the small pearls. Peach or plum flavoring appeared, then more fruit flavors were added until, in some variations, the tea was removed entirely in favor of real fruit. These fruit versions usually contain colored pearls (and/or "jelly cubes" as in the related drink taho), the color chosen to match whatever fruit juice is used. Flavors may be added in the form of powder, fruit juice, pulp, or syrup to hot black or green tea, which is then shaken in a cocktail shaker or mixed with ice in a blender until chilled. Cooked tapioca pearls and other mix-ins are added at the end.
Today one can find shops entirely devoted to bubble tea, similar to the juice bars of the early 1990s. Some cafes use plastic dome-shaped lids, while other bubble tea bars serve it using a machine to seal the top of the cup with plastic cellophane. This allows the tea to be shaken in the serving cup. The cellophane is then pierced with an oversize straw large enough to allow the pearls to pass through.
Each of the ingredients of bubble tea can have many variations depending on the tea house. Typically, different types of black tea, green tea, or even coffee can form the basis of this beverage. The most common black tea varieties are Oolong and Earl Grey, while jasmine green tea is a mainstay at almost all tea houses. Another variation called 鸳鸯 (yuanyang, named after the "mandarin duck") originated in Hong Kong and consists of half black tea and half coffee. Decaffeinated versions of teas are sometimes available when the tea house fresh brews the tea base.
The milk in bubble tea is optional, though many tea houses use it. Some cafes use a non-dairy creamer milk substitute instead of milk because many East Asians are lactose intolerant.[4] Soy milk options are widely available for those who avoid dairy products. This adds a distinct flavor and consistency to the drink.
Different flavorings can be added to bubble tea. Some widely available fruit flavors include strawberry, green apple, passion fruit, mango, lemon, grape, lychee, peach, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, banana, avocado, coconut, kiwi, and jack-fruit. Other popular non-fruit flavors include taro, pudding, chocolate, coffee, mocha, barley, sesame, almond, ginger, lavender, rose, and violet. Some of the sour fruit flavors are only available in bubble tea without milk as the acidity will curdle the milk.
Tapioca balls great and small are the prevailing chewy tidbit in bubble tea, but a wide range of other options can add equally tantalizing texture to the drink. Green pearls have a small hint of green tea flavor, and are chewier than the traditional tapioca balls. Jelly is also used in small cubes, stars, or rectangular strips, with flavors like coconut jelly, konjac, lychee, grass, mango, and green tea. Rainbow (a fruit mix), has a pliant, almost crispy consistency. Red bean or mung bean mush, also typical toppings for Taiwanese shaved ice, give the drink an added subtle Cavour as well as texture. Aloe, egg pudding, sago, and taro balls can also be found in most tea houses to complete the perfect cup of tea.
Single-serving packets of black tea (with powdered milk and sugar included) are available as "Instant Boba Milk Tea".
Bubble tea cafes will also frequently serve drinks without coffee or tea in them. The base for these drinks is flavoring blended with ice, often called Snow Bubble. All mix-ins that can be added to the bubble tea can also be added to these slushie-like drinks. One drawback to Snow Bubble is that the coldness of the iced drink may cause the tapioca balls to harden, making them difficult to suck up through a straw and chew. To prevent this from happening, Snow Bubble must be consumed more quickly than bubble tea.
Occasionally, nata de coco is used in mass-produced bubble tea drinks as a healthier alternative to tapioca. Nata de coco is high in dietary fiber and low in cholesterol and fat. The nata de coco is sliced into thin strips to make it easier to pass through a straw
There are two shops that claim to be the creators of bubble tea. One is Liu Han Chie who worked in Chun Shui Tang tea-house (春水堂) in Taichung, Taiwan, in the early 1980s, and experimented with cold milk tea by adding fruit, syrup, candied yams, and tapioca balls. Although the drink was not popular at first, a Japanese television show generated interest in it among businessmen. The drink became well-known in most parts of East and Southeast Asia during the 1990s
An alternative origin is the Hanlin (翰林) Teahouse in Tainan, Taiwan, owned by Tu Tsong He Hanlin. Bubble tea is made by adding traditional white fenyuan which have an appearance of pearls, supposedly resulting in the so-called "pearl tea." Shortly after, Hanlin changed the white fenyuan (粉圓) to the black, as it is today.

WoWhatWear:STYLINGTIPS
While it's easy to get nostalgic around this time of year, we don't want you to focus on the past—or even the future. Instead of retrospectives or predictions, let's just take a moment to concentrate on the present. Sure, there's an amazing new season full of fabulous new styles just around the corner, but before we flip that page, why not focus on what to wear now? Happily we have a little assistance from our favorite tastemakers, who have helpfully worn wonderful outfits that are both easy to emulate and completely currant. Whether it's the addition of exemplary accessories or the delightful pairing of a new silhouette with a timeless essential, we think you'll find more than enough inspiration in today's final round of Tips to keep you well dressed right into the next decade!
Tip # 1: Pick a red dress with a demure fit.
In theory, we love a red dress, but in practice it can be a bit tricky, as they can veer into overly fancy, prom territory quite quickly. But when we spotted the beautiful Anne V at The Cinema Society's screening of Brothers last month wearing rouge in a wonderful way, we knew we had to spotlight her in Tips. The reason this outfit works is because her Yigal Azrouel dress is relatively modest and majorly chic (and her Christian Louboutin Leopard-Print Ankle Boots ($1375) really are darling too!). We suggest trying a similarly festive frock right now, like Vivienne Westwood Anglomania's Red Drapped Long Sleeve Dress ($278), T-Bag's Button Down Dress ($203), or Pepe Jeans London's Drapey Asymmetric Shoulder Dress ($85). Just pair with your favorite ankle boots (animal-print or otherwise) and you'll make a sophisticated statement in the spirit of this stylish model!
Tip #2: Embellish an outfit via lace tights.
Our favorite on-air accessories editor, Olivia Palermo, knows the power of a good outfit accent, so it's no surprise that she's been spotted about town in an of-the-moment pair of lace tights. Snapped at the after-party for a Calvin Klein Collection-hosted screening of Broken Embraces, the well-coiffed Palermo used Wolford's Souvenir Tights ($117) to embellish her asymmetrical silk top and organic wool mini—both by Susan Woo. While Palermo's exact stockings are super-expensive, you can certainly mimic her lacey leg look for less. Just add a pair of Topshop's Pansy Lace Tights ($24) or Aristoc's Lace Tights ($18) to your favorite black-and-white outfit for a ELLE editor-inspired outfit!
Tip # 3: Pair a body-con dress with booties.
Much like the aforementioned red-dress issue, the recent spate of body-con mini dresses poses a problem for many women. We get loads of questions from readers wondering if there are ways to tone down the inherent sexiness of this it-item. Thankfully, major model Daria Werbowy offers one swell example of how to inject a little downtown cool in such a dress—just add a bold pair of ankle boots! That's right, while dainty pumps are fine for many things, we think a clunky bootie is the better choice; it just makes the skin-tight mini look a bit more modern. While Ms. Werbowy wore a Stefanel Laminated Jersey Dress ($212) at a party during Milan Fashion Week, there are many metallic frocks on the market right now; try American Apparel's Foil Print Micro-Mesh Long Sleeve Mini Dress ($48) or BCBGeneration's One Shoulder Mini ($108) for starters. Then just add a pair of no-nonsense ankle boots, like Joseph's Shoe Boots ($135) or ASOS' Phoenix Zip Front Shoes ($60) to offset the semi-skimpy silhouette of your dress.
Tip # 4: Add texture with ornate accessories.
One of the things we love about model/stylist/designer Erin Wasson is the way she invariably makes simplicity interesting. Take the outfit she wore to Phi's F/W 09 show for example: even though she's primarily in black, there's nothing boring about her look, thanks to the addition of two ornate accessories—a Prada crackle fringe bag and multi-buckle Phi booties. The next time you want to fancy up your favorite petite noir dress or other understated outfit, just add embellishment via ASOS' Poppy Suede Cage T-Bar Shoes ($85) or Alexander Wang's Abbey High Heel Sandals ($495) and grab a detailed tote like Urban Outfitters' Snakeskin Stud Handbag ($48) or Topshop's Hexagon Studded Bag ($65). The results will be anything but drab—we promise!
Tip #5: Experiment with cropped harem pants.
Billowy in the thigh, dropped in the crotch, and eye-catching in every way, harem pants are definitely still au courant. You've probably tried some of the simpler styles by now, so we're guessing you might be ready to take a tip from model Alana Zimmer, seen here at a launch for Louis Vuitton's Cruise 10 collection at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Zimmer opted for an exaggerated and cropped pair of No.6's AnnTian Warped Pants ($460), which she styled with a simple Alexander Wang tank and a slim Jil Sander jacket for a look that's a deft combination of slouchy and sharp. If you're ready to experiment, simply mix a drapey abbreviated pant, like Helmut Lang's Crop Harem Pants ($275) or Delia's Harem Pant ($30), with your favorite slim tank and blazer. Just be sure to keep the whole thing looking chic by finishing off the look with some statement ankle boots or heels.
Tip #6: Mix a fancy sweater with a t-shirt.
Our final Tip of 2009 comes courtesy of a lady who's had a very stylish year—Ms. Byrdie Bell. Photographed at the Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and RVCA-hosted debut of French artist Nicolas Pol's "The Martus Maw" show, Bell wore an ingenious lace jacket of her own semi-creation (after purchasing it at the Chelsea Flea Market, she cut the lining out of the sleeves!) with a vintage XL tee. The fanciness of the lace elevates the distressed t-shirt, resulting in a high-low look that's perfect for an art opening. We suggest taking Bell's lead and find your own worn-in tee and transformable jacket at your favorite vintage resource, but if you're not interested in searching, Topshop's Premium Lace Bed Jacket ($80) is a good easty-to-find alternative.
MODEL OFF DUTY:MARYNA LINCHUK
Sometimes, typically when battling yet another installment of our chronic insomnia, we like to lull ourselves to sleep thinking about the perfect life. In this parallel universe, we'd wake up in our Ryan Korban-designed pad (oh, how we adore his work), brew up a fresh batch of Stumptown coffee, and then wander into our giant closet filled with beautiful black-on-black clothes, much like the ones favored by model Maryna Linchuk. The Russian stunner has collected an assortment of wardrobe staples—little leather jackets, sharp shoes, and skinny pants galore—in an inky palette we not-so-secretly adore. In lesser hands, Linchuk's nearly monochromatic wardrobe could err on the uninteresting side of things, but thanks to a smart selection of unbasic black pieces (a mixture of opacities, textures, and layers), her Model Off Duty look is one to covet.
One of the first things we noticed about Linchuk's outfits is her tendency to favor a single silhouette. The foundation of her personal style is a skinny pant; she almost always builds her outfits around leggings, a slim pair of jeans, or form-fitting leather pants—all in inky tones, of course. Another Linchuk certainty is a fitted jacket, whether that's her go-to little leather jacket (combined with a plaid shirt and pointy pumps backstage at Preen F/W 09), a preppy boyfriend blazer (worn with knee-high boots post-show at Rag & Bone), or a sharp-shoulder cropped style (as seen at backstage at Donna Karan's S/S 10 show). In fact, our MOD is so enamored with little leather jackets—naming versions by Balenciaga, Gucci, and Belstaff as a few of her favorites—she designed one with the boys from Rag & Bone, which was sold as part of the Fall 09 collection and is currently on sale .
Within these strict parameters, Linchuk adds dimension to her lean-and-leggy looks via interesting layers. Sometimes they're long, like the semi-sheer embroidered tunic and snap-detailed jacket she mixed together after Zac Posen's F/W 09 show, other times they're shorter, such as the hip-length cardi and studded belt she wore while en route to Giambatista Valli's F/W 09 show, but they're always nuanced. Even her outerwear gets a little textural help; we love the surprise of a furry gilet over a double-breasted jacket and the unexpected leather arms on a mid-length funnel neck coat (as seen at Ralph Lauren's F/W 09 show over a floral dress).
To pull off your own version of Linchuk's understated élan, you obviously need some rock'n'roll basics. Of course we suggest saving up for your own Balenciaga moto jacket or picking up a Rag & Bone iteration, like the Bowery Leather Jacket ($1495). However, you just might like For Joseph's Cicletta Biker Jacket ($450) or Doma's Leather Motorcycle Jacket ($498) as immediate, more affordable alternatives. You can also add a little gothic glam with a petite and pointy jacket, like Robert Rodriguez's Crocodile Leather Jacket ($792), or via a snug suede style with padded shoulders, such as Illia's Tailored Suede Jacket with Zip Pockets ($649). In the trousers department, go for second-skin pants like L'Agence's Metallic Leather Leggings ($1030) or a killer pair of Bess' Leather Zip Leggings ($968) on the high end, while Charlotte Ronson's Zipped Leather Pants ($215) or Current/Elliott's The Legging Jeans ($176) will do the trick at a lower price point.
With our fashionable framework set, now you just have to add a few key layers to bring dimension to your MOD look. If you're mad for Linchuk's plaid shirt, you're in luck, as we've discovered a couple of great alternatives. Forever 21's Crinkle Plaid Shirt ($18) is a guilt-free treat, but if we had our druthers, we'd pick up Frank and Eileen's Barry Plaid Button Down ($158) instead. Otherwise, if you're looking for some lightweight layers, we suggest reaching for J. Crew's Cashmere V-Neck Sweater ($168) or Gap's Grosgrain-Trimmed Cardigan ($55), or you could just go for a classic tee, like Alternative Apparel's The Versaille Slub V-Neck ($30). Finish with a pair of universally adored flat boots, such as Fiorentini + Baker's Mid Shaft Buckle Boots ($525), or a pointy-toe pair of pumps, like the Preen 2 Part Court Shoe ($180) from Topshop, for an equally cool Linchuk-style look!

How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Cosmopolitan
A cosmopolitan is a cocktail made with vodka, Cointreau or Triple Sec, cranberry juice, and fresh-squeezed lime juice or sweetened lime juice. Informally, it is referred to as a Cosmo.
The cosmopolitan gained popularity fairly quickly, traveling from Provincetown, through New York, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, and on to San Francisco  or possibly from Miami to San Francisco, and on to New York ..
The cosmopolitan gained popularity in the 1990s. According to Brian Gougherty, the cosmo was further popularized among young women by its frequent mention on the television program Sex and the City, where Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, commonly ordered the drink when out with her girlfriends. In the episode "Sex and the Country", Carrie goes to a drive-through diner and jokingly orders, "A cheese burger, large fries and a cosmopolitan please". The film adaptation made a reference to its popularity when Miranda asks why they stopped drinking them, Carrie replies 'because everyone else started.'
It is not only in television that the cosmo has influenced popular culture. Demeter Fragrance Library has created a cologne intended to smell like the cosmopolitan cocktail.
Well here Ive got for you a recipe to make a non-alcoholic Cosmopolitan.
Things You'll Need:
Large jug or pitcher
Cocktail glasses
A lemon
4 cups of cranberry juice cocktail
4 cups of club soda
¼ cup of lime juice

How to make easy Lip Gloss
I have always looked for ways to make lip gloss, but I have never found any recipes that use ingredients found around the house. ( or last more than 3 days!) This is a recipe that Use less than 5 Ingredients, requires no 'cooking', and is super quick! :)2 Prepare the shortening
step 1 Supplies
Ingredients:
1. Shortening
2.Icing coloring (or you could use food coloring)
3.Optional:
Koolaid (for color and flavor)
Sparkles
Olive oil (makes the gloss more glossy!)
Tools :
Small bowl (or cup)
Fork
Spoon
Small quart size plastic bag
Toothpicks
Cup
Rubber band
Step 2 Prepare the shortening
This step is optional. Melt the shortening in the microwave until it is a liquid. Add some olive oil, (not to much) and stir. the shortening will cool and turn solid again, but the oil will make it more of a liquid. If you want, add some glitter!
3 Color the Shortening
If you are using icing colors (which I recommend for the many colors possible), you will want to use toothpicks. Just poke the toothpicks in the color and swirl the toothpick around the shortening to colorize it. If you are using food color, put a few drops in the shortening and swirl with a toothpick.
You can mix colors to get the exact color you want. Keep in mind that the food color will really show up on your lips alot if you put enough!
4 Add the flavor!
To add flavor, use SUGAR FREE koolaid! if you use sugar, it will make the lip gloss turn in to a disgusting mess within a few weeks! Add a few drops of water to a pinch koolaid and stir (with a toothpick) then add a few drops of the flavor to your lip gloss. Dont over do it! You can also add vanilla as a flavoring!
Step 5 Bag the lip gloss
Put the bag around a cup and spoon your lipgloss into the bag. squeeze it all to a corner of the bag and tie a rubber band around it. Snip the corner. Poof! you have made a quick and easy lip gloss!

R.I.P Brittany Murphy
Omg..
Brittany Murphy, the bubbly, free-spirited actress who appeared in such films as "Clueless" and "8 Mile," died Sunday, apparently of natural causes, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said. She was 32.
Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. PT Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Sally Stewart told CNN Radio.
An autopsy had not been scheduled as of Sunday night, but Captain John Kades, a spokesman for the coroner's office, told CNN that there was no sign of foul play or trauma. He added that it's not unusual for a younger person to die of natural causes.
The coroner's office is looking into Murphy's medical history. A final report could take up to eight weeks.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the death, and robbery and homicide detectives will be at her home, LAPD spokeswoman Norma Eisenman said.
"The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy," her family said in a statement issued by her publicist. "She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time."
Funeral arrangements are pending, the family said.
Murphy starred in several movies, including "Just Married," "Don't Say a Word" and "Riding in Cars with Boys." She also voiced the character Luanne on the animated TV series "King of the Hill."
She is survived by her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, whom she married in 2007.
Fans took to Murphy's official Facebook page Sunday to issue their condolences.
"She was a great actress and was going to go far in her career! She will be greatly missed!" read one post.
Murphy's former boyfriend and "Just Married" co-star Ashton Kutcher posted his reaction to the news via Twitter.
"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon," Kutcher posted.
He added later: "see you on the other side kid."
Singer-actress Jessica Simpson tweeted: "Brittany Murphy was an incredible ray of Light to so many people. Her smile was contagious. My prayers are with her family and loved ones."
Actress Alyssa Milano, who did a USO tour with Murphy in 2003, wrote on Twitter: "She was a sweet soul, with a lot of talent and heart."
Murphy was best known for her work in a string of romantic comedies in the early 2000s, including lead roles in "Uptown Girls" alongside fellow Georgia native Dakota Fanning, and "Little Black Book" with Holly Hunter and Kathy Bates, but her movie roles had declined in recent years.
Last month, Murphy reportedly was fired from "The Caller," a movie she was working on in Puerto Rico. Her representative issued a statement to news outlets disputing the report, saying: "She was not nor has she ever been fired from any job big or small. ... [Due] to creative differences Ms. Murphy and the production mutually parted ways," according to People magazine.
In addition to her "King of the Hill" role, she lent her voice to a number of animated works including the TV series "Futurama" and the 2006 hit movie "Happy Feet."
Her work as troubled teenagers in "Don't Say a Word" and "Girl, Interrupted" also gained her critical acclaim.
Murphy was the subject of tabloid gossip after she transformed from a pudgy brunette in 1995's "Clueless" to a petite, lithe blonde who graced the cover of such magazines as Cosmopolitan in 2005. She frequently denied rumors of an eating disorder and plastic surgery.
Her love life also was fodder for gossip sites as she broke two engagements in 2004 and 2006, then married Monjack after only four months of dating.
"All these ridiculous people came out and said all this nonsense when we got married, [but] thank God we had the substance and the history within that to [say], 'Yeah, whatever!' " Monjack told People magazine in a 2008 interview. "We still don't understand what happened. It's made us laugh, it's made us cry, but it's made us stronger."

Life Is............
'Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.'
The Best Ways to Wear Blue Eye Shadow
The dramatic eyes at Versace’s fall 2009 show were deep and mysterious, played up by makeup artist Pat McGrath with a “metallic midnight-blue.” Cobalt peepers also provided pops of color at Nicole Miller, Rebecca Taylor, and Tibi, suggesting that blue eyes are more than a passing fancy. But if you’re wary of the trend—unable to suppress memories of Mimi Bobeck’s scary turquoise shadow on The Drew Carey Show—McGrath, global creative design director for P&G Beauty, offers encouragement.

Or you can opt for just a flash of color by doing a wet blue dot on the inner corner of the eye,” says McGrath. “You can also blend blue eye shadow with a brown one and do a small tick at the outer edges with blue eye liner.”

DIY:Cupcake lollypops
OMG..when I was looking for cute cupcakes for my other post i founded this totally to cute cupcake's on a stick..By the way these cupcake lollypops are from bakerella
Cupcake Pops and Cupcake Bites
1 13X9 baked cake (from a box cake mix or from scratch … any flavor)
1 can cream cheese frosting (or about 2 cups equivalent from scratch)
1 flower shaped cookie cutter (1.25″ wide X .75″ tall)
1 package chocolate bark
1 package pink candy melts or white chocolate bark
bowls for dipping
wax paper
aluminum foil
lollipop sticks
sprinkles, m&ms or something similar for top of cupcake
small plastic treat bags and ribbon to package the Cupcake Pops
candy cups and truffle boxes to individually package the Cupcake Bites
styrofoam block
1. Bake a cake from a mix or from scratch and cool completely.
2. Crumble cake into a fine consistency into a large bowl.
TIP: If the texture is too coarse, you can run it through a food processor.
3. Add can of cream cheese frosting or homemade frosting and blend together using the back of a large spoon. Blend thoroughly.
4. Roll mixture into 1.25″ – 1.5″ size balls and lay on wax paper covered cookie sheet. You may want to periodically rinse and dry your hands off in between.
5. Cover with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for several hours.
TIP: You can speed this up by placing in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
6. Remove. Begin to shape into cupcakes using a small flower-shaped cookie cutter. (see below) Take the chilled ball and roll it into more of an oval and then slide into cookie cutter. Push it into cutter until about half fills the cutter and the rest sticks out of the top in the shape of a mound. Then push the shaped cupcake carefully out of the cookie cutter from the bottom. Set right side up on a wax paper covered cookie sheet. Continue with remaining balls.
7. Once shaped, cover and return to freezer. (5-10 minutes)
TIP: You can leave them covered in the refrigerator overnight if you want to do the dipping on the following day.
8. While cupcake shapes are chilling, begin to heat up your chocolate bark.
9. Brown chocolate bark for the bottoms. Pink or white chocolate for the tops.
10. Follow the instructions on the package for melting. Most recommend heating for 30 second intervals at a time and stirring in between. You can also do the double boiler method.
11. When you are ready to dip, remove from freezer and set up another wax paper covered cookie sheet.
12. Take the cupcake shaped mixture and dip bottoms into the melted chocolate – just to the point where the mounded shape starts. Remove from chocolate, turn upside down and wiggle so that the excess starts to slide down slightly. Then lay on the wax paper upside down. If you want them to be lollipops, then go ahead and insert the lollipop sticks while the chocolate is still wet. Continue with rest of the cupcakes. You can also leave some without the sticks. They’re just as cute as Cupcake Bites.
TIP: Dip end of your lollipop stick in the melted chocolate before inserting into chocolate bottoms. Not sure if this helps a lot, but it couldn’t hurt.
DON’T – get water in the chocolate. Make sure your hands are completely dry. Water will cause the chocolate to separate and mess up all your hard work.
13. Dry completely. (15-20 minutes)
14. Once dry, dip the tops of the cupcakes in the pink or white chocolate. You may need to move it around a little to cover all the exposed areas.
15. TIP: Let the pink chocolate sit for a few minutes after heating to thicken. This will help it from dripping down the sides of the cupcake.
16. Remove from the pink/white chocolate and turn right side up. You may need to hold and rotate it if there is any excess so that it doesn’t drip down too far.
TIP: You can use a toothpick to help cover any areas the melted chocolate didn’t cover.
17. For the Cupcake Bites – just turn right side up and rest on the wax paper. Then go ahead and put a m&m on the top and add sprinkles while wet.
18. For the lollipops, Continue holding and place an m&m on the top and add sprinkles. Let them dry in a styrofoam block that you have already poked holes into.
19. When completely dry, cover the lollipops with small plastic treat bags and tie with a ribbon.
20. For the Cupcake Bites, place in a candy cup and package in small candy truffle boxes to present individually.
Makes about 50.
You can store these in an airtight container and they will last for several days. You can also store in the refrigerator if you would like them cold.

First Choice - this size (1.25″ wide), mine was made by Williams-Sonoma. Not available online anymore, but you might get lucky and find one in their stores. I’d call first. I’m sure another brand makes one this size, too.
Second Choice – Crinkle Cutter – Wilton (1.25″ wide) Works really good.
Third Choice – Flower Cutter – Wilton (1.5″ wide) You can use this one, but you will probably want to roll your balls a little larger and use the thicker lollipop/cookie sticks for support.
